Emily Williams leads global Consumer Marketing Insights for Newell Rubbermaid’s Home Solutions and Fine Writing divisions supporting the Calphalon, Levolor, Goody, Parker and Waterman brands. In addition, Emily is overseeing the company’s work-stream to ensure qualitative research best practice across all Newell divisions. In this role, Emily leads internal training in qualitative excellence and the selection process for gold standard external qualitative partners.
Emily is passionate about leveraging the consumer perspective to global brand strategy, development and innovation. Throughout her career, Emily has enjoyed bringing target consumers to life in inspirational ways as well as leveraging innovative methodologies for exploring consumers in various developed and developing markets. She has far-reaching global experience doing so across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas to identify consumer and cultural insights that drive brand growth.
Prior to her current role, Emily held senior leadership positions at Unilever supporting North American hair care brand building and market deployment, as well as global skincare brand development.
Emily has a BA in Psychology from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY.
