Janel Faucher is a Senior UX Researcher at Udemy, the leading global marketplace for teaching and learning, with more than 30 million students learning from over 42,000 instructors in over 50 languages. She joined Udemy in 2017 and partners with stakeholders across the business, executing both ad hoc and thought leadership studies to support product/design & business strategy. Prior to Udemy, Janel started her career in research at AOL, becoming the go-to UX expert for multiple AOL products. She’s an advocate for a mixed method approach to research, and believes that using both qualitative and quantitative/behavioral data can tell much more comprehensive, clear, and compelling stories about consumer attitudes and behaviors.
