Robin Myers, Association of Corporate Counsel

Former Director of Research

Robin Myers is the Director of Research for the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), the world’s largest international in-house bar association, which represents over 40,000 members in 90 countries. Her team’s research on global perceptions on topics related to ethics, environmental, social and governance (ESG), and cybersecurity are cited by top news and trade outlets.

Robin’s favorite research question, ‘Who cares?”, grounds all her studies and work with clients. As a passionate social scientist, she firmly believes that data must be connected to the human experience. For Robin, data without broader context simply can’t serve its purpose. Her extensive international travel and ethnographic research in Bosnia and China has shaped her world view and approaches.

Robin’s interest in contextualizing data has contributed to her success working in the public, non-profit and private sectors. She has applied her curiosity and expertise in consulting, health, education, defense, and commercial settings. Prior to joining ACC, she worked for Gallup, the Bureau of Census, and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). Robin has written and presented on a variety of topics including work-life balance, shifting demographics in the workforce, youth entrepreneurship, corporate legal practices, and healthcare. Robin holds an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts and a certificate in volunteer mediation from Harvard Law School.
